DLK Solutions seeks two experienced Power BI Coach / Trainer to deliver a hands-on, practice-oriented Data Analytics and Business Intelligence training program using Power BI.
The training focuses on real-world datasets, professional data workflows, dashboard development, and actionable insights, rather than theory-heavy instruction. The coach will support participants to independently analyze data, build interactive dashboards, and communicate insights clearly to decision-makers across sectors .
Training Overview
- Course Title: Practical Data Analytics and Decision Support using Power BI
- Delivery Mode: Live interactive online sessions (Google Meet / Zoom)
- Total Duration: 1 Month
- Live Sessions: 8 sessions (2 sessions per week)
- Session Length: 2 hours per session
- Total Live Instruction: 16 hours
- Learning Approach:
- Live demonstrations and guided exercises
- Hands-on work with real-world datasets
- Weekly practical assignments
- Dashboard and report development
- Individual capstone project and presentation
Requirements
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Power BI (desktop and service).
- At least 3 years’ professional experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics.
- Proven experience in adult learning, training design, and delivery.
- Strong understanding of data-driven decision-making in Business, development or humanitarian contexts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, IT, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Familiarity with other analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, or GIS) is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
The Power BI Coach / Trainer will be responsible for:
- Delivering interactive live training sessions aligned with the approved Power BI curriculum
- Guiding participants through:
- Business Intelligence concepts and Power BI ecosystem
- Data connection, cleaning, and transformation
- Data modeling and DAX fundamentals
- Advanced visualizations, dashboards, and reports
- Use of Power BI Service for publishing and collaboration
- Geographic data visualization and maps in Power BI
- Designing and assessing practical assignments and real-world data challenges
- Providing structured feedback and mentoring to participants
- Coaching participants through an end-to-end Power BI capstone project
- Facilitating final project presentations and professional review sessions
